Change in Service
From Monday 16th July 2018, Cleveland Crop Sprayers Ltd will no longer be providing field servicing, repairs or NSTS testing on agricultural sprayers.
A new service company has been formed called Merse Agriculture. Merse Agriculture is being directed by Craig Burn who is the former senior technician and engineer at Cleveland Crop Sprayers Ltd. All farm call outs and booked services will be carried out by Merse Agriculture.
Merse Agriculture will be operating from the Duns area and will continue to support Cleveland customers.
Cleveland will still be the UK’s largest Arag parts outlet and will continue to hold spare parts for sprayers. Your parts point of contact within the company remain the same. You will still hold your trading account at Cleveland Crop Sprayers Ltd and over the counter sprayer parts can be bought in the normal way.
The labour rate for NSTS testing and all other servicing will be £38p/h + VAT. This is a reduction of £9.70 per hour. The mileage charge will be £0.90p + VAT per mile which will only be charged one way of the journey.
The contact numbers for Merse Agriculture are 01361 408532 & 07713 250743. The email address is [email protected]
Merse Agriculture will carry a larger specific Bargam sprayer parts stock on board their service vehicle than Cleveland has in the past, in order to speed up repair times.
Any bookings that have been made to Cleveland for service work in the coming days and weeks will continue with Merse Agriculture. You will be contacted first and asked if this is acceptable.
Machines that are currently under warranty will be fully supported by Merse Agriculture and Cleveland Crop Sprayers Ltd collectively.
If you have any further questions we will be here to answer them.
Conclusion: An administrative change is taking place and Craig Burn will be assuming responsibility for Agricultural Service and NSTS testing. We are very confident this change will not adversely affect the support you receive. We thank you for your continued business and we will be here to provide sprayer parts into the future. Cleveland is fully supporting and working closely with Merse Agriculture to ensure the transition is smooth and simple.
